A native of Atlanta, GA, Jennifer Custer started her career in UK publishing in 2003, working at the Blake Friedmann literary agency while finishing her Master's degree in Publishing Studies. In 2004 she joined the A M Heath literary agency and became Rights Director there, a position she held for over a decade. After a 2018 career break which saw her hike the Appalachian Trail, she returned to London and in 2019 became head of UK scouting at Eccles Fisher Associates. She joined MBCA in 2024 as its London Director, overseeing both publishing and film and TV business.
