Elizabeth Cochrane joined MBCA UK in 2022, having worked at UK and US scouting firms across both publishing and film/TV. She began her career in publishing as a foreign rights agent, working for Lavinia Trevor Agency and Greene & Heaton, before becoming a scout in 2010. She lived and worked in Prague for several years after graduating from Newcastle University with a BA in English Literature. She has worked as an editor and literary consultant, and alongside her publishing roles has also devised and led projects for arts charities.
