Dagmar has been a publishing professional for many years. She has an MA in English Literature, with International Children’s Literature as a minor subject. She built her experience by working in a bookshop owned by one of the founders of the Frankfurt Book Fair, for the FBF itself and the office for promoting German literature abroad (a subsidiary of FBF), at Suhrkamp in Export and Sales, as an intern at the Agence Hoffman and at the Liepman Agency. Following this, she moved to the UK to work in rights at Bloomsbury, Eddison Sadd and HarperCollins, before she turned her expertise and knowledge of the international publishing industry to literary scouting.
